Improve Customer Handover
Opticians handover paging is an innovation that we have been involved in since about 2006, so we have plenty of experience with what is needed to improve efficiencies and to close more customer focused deals. The VueText display is designed to work with equipment you already have!
If you currently operate an LRS paging system with pagers for staff to attend the test rooms for customer handover, then you have what's needed to use one of our new VueText displays. These displays operate through your paging system and can drastically improve the efficiency and profitability even further.

VueText screens are large enough for staff to see, but are not overly dominant inside the store, so staff will easily see the messages as they appear and act accordingly. And if they are using the LRS OptiCall system (as supplied to Specsavers for example) then staff can still use the 'swipe' technology to notify others that they have 'handled' a particular test room, confident that other staff will see the cancel message on screen. There is even an audio notice that could be used to draw attention of staff, but that option is generally not used in many opticians because it can affect the ambience in store.
The display can also show a rotating message (fully programmable) that can auto remove after a period of time.
Because the technology uses radio waves to receive messages all that is needed for installation is a power socket for the small power supply, and the display can mount on any convenient location or fixed wall.
It's also possible to create an audio notification too so that customers look at the display and don't miss their order. While this example is simply mentioning a pizza house, we're sure that you can imagine this type of system in your company if you have waiting customers. It speeds up the throughput of customers and reduces the 'walk by' potential of others that might have visited the premises with smaller waiting crowds.
The VueText does receive messaging from a paging system, and the LRS customer paging works perfectly. If you use any other kind of pager brand then please do call us and ask whether that brand is compatible. Please note that we do NOT support the 'cheap' retekess paging systems out there because of often unreliability of those types of products in our experience.
