Customer Callback
In many areas of business (for example fast food) it is often necessary to call back customers when what they are waiting for is ready for collection. With the VueText messaging display this is low cost and simple at the press of a button.
Operating any type of business where customers are waiting to collect something you produce can often be difficult. While there are many solutions for recalling customers, there are yet others that you might not have thought of, or some that might not be very effective for your exact situation. But thankfully our own approach uses equipment that compliments the various answers and together they create the 'perfect' solution.
Recalling customers is often completed by using pagers and that's a great answer for the problem. But sometimes customers are congregated in front of the order desk so you need a way to get the right customer to collect their order without fuss, and without affecting the overall ambience of the premises.
The VueText can message customers in front of the collection point so that they return immediately and reduce the number of waiting customers. For example in an establishment making 'take away' pizza's it works brilliantly.
The unit can hold customer names on it's screen and scroll around customer entries so that customers have a chance to see when their pizza is ready for collection. And retention time is easily programmable on the device with automatic clearing down when the items are collected at a set time of delay.
There is an option for an audio notification so that customers look at the display and cannot miss their order but that can be bypassed if necessary. While this example is simply mentioning a pizza house, we're sure that you can imagine this type of system in your company if you have waiting customers. It speeds up the throughput of customers and reduces the 'walk by' potential of others that might have visited the premises with smaller waiting crowds.
The VueText does receive messaging from a paging system, and the LRS customer paging works perfectly. If you use any other kind of pager brand then please do call us and ask whether that brand is compatible. Please note that we do NOT support the 'cheap' retekess paging systems out there because of often unreliability of those products.
There are two sizes of LED display screen with either two or four line text within the LED matrix depending on unit choice. Power is provided via a small power supply. The LED units are designed to last for years, even longer than the life of the VueText device itself!
